CLA non-toxic alternative to UV resin 🌿
I love the glossy finish you get with UV resin, but I really don’t love how toxic it can be. Of course, many people use proper protection, but beginners often don’t, and that can be risky. I’ve been looking for a safer, water-based alternative that still gives a similar shiny effect and I finally found one.
Turns out, hobby pouring glazes can do the job (and there are quite a few brands that make them). The glaze is thick enough to self-level, easy to work with, and it cures just with air and time. No UV lamp needed.
It’s also much less harsh to work with compared to UV resin.
Honestly, I’m really happy with the result.
