I fear this video is too 2016 coded 😭 I was 14 here. It’s wild looking back and realising how fast 10 years can fly by. Juju on That Beat was everywhere at the time and I loved dancing to it, even though dancing has never really been my strong point. The dab at the end really finished me off watching this back 💀 What really gets me though is how much has changed health wise. During that period of my life I’d just come out of an over two week hospital stay recovering from a serious case of sepsis, and I was very unwell around this time, constantly in and out of hospital. You might’ve noticed the blue armband around my upper arm. That was holding a long line in, basically a type of IV line that goes into a large vein and stays in for weeks or months so you can have medication and treatment without constant needles. Dancing and trying to make people laugh was my way of slowly starting to recover from all of that. Watching this back now, I’m proud of how far I’ve come 🤍
