I just want to get this one out of the archive as a reminder to everyone having a blast Speedflying these days and those in close proximity to any action sports. There have been a multiple factors that contributed to this accident, however the one I want to address first - is mental state before action. I have to admit that I did have a death wish on this flight and what triggered it is an argument I had with my mother at the take off... an argument about nothing, yet it drives me mad when people have no respect to what we’re about to do. Indeed it’s my own stupid actions, and by now it should’ve learned to tune it down a notch, but still, please be mindful at the takeoff, exit or elsewhere, sending out our friends, family or strangers. Few other things that helped to get there: - i bought a small wing a bit early, and downsizing should be slow gradual process, despite any talent, other experience and any reasoning. Own the intermediate wings, crash with them first. - wasn’t current that season and should’ve packed more flying on larger wing just to remember to process things at this speed. - I was traveling light, and chose the smaller wing for a short trip instead of safer one. If that’s the case, choose otherwise or buy extra baggage... — Andrey Karr
