When two objects appear to touch, no direct contact occurs at the atomic level. Atoms are mostly empty space, consisting of a dense nucleus surrounded by an electron cloud. When your hand approaches a surface, the electrons in both materials begin to interact through electromagnetic forces. Because electrons carry the same negative charge, they strongly repel each other. This repulsion creates a force that prevents atoms from occupying the same space. What we perceive as “touch” is actually the resistance created by these electromagnetic interactions. Quantum mechanics reinforces this effect through the Pauli exclusion principle, which prevents electrons from occupying identical quantum states. This ensures that matter maintains its structure and does not collapse into itself. What feels like physical contact is, in reality, a balance of invisible quantum forces maintaining separation. Does knowing this change how you think about something as simple as touch? 🎥 : @byteme_98 [YT]

Couldn’t slow down. 107 km/h. I’ve been obsessed with this spot for years now. I knew that not braking before the forest turn was technically feasible but also that no one had attempted it for a good reason. You’re going about 100 km/h in a dense forest and suddenly you just see trees and nothing else ahead of you as the road drops and turns right. And that’s on a road with a supposed max grade of 28% which is close to the steepest stuff I’ve skated. The times I’ve dreamt of a crash have often been right there. Took a few runs before I finally felt confident enough to attempt it, which is the clip here. I couldn’t believe it when Greg showed I went 107. But I couldn’t leave it on a bail, and thankfully we had just enough time to get another run in, which I’ll post in a few days with the full run. Defo of my favourite runs ever, hadn’t felt this level of adrenaline in a long time.

2,500 and 2,500… but not the same experience Same number completely different outcome One side is low volume easy to eat calorie-dense poor macros and it leaves you feeling like garbage after energy crashes still hungry bloated and right back looking for more The other side? high volume more food better macros higher protein and carbs that actually fuel you Now your energy is steady you feel full your body performs and you actually recover So yeah… both are 2,500 But how you feel and how you look? Not even close That’s how people stay stuck eating 2,500 but getting completely different results Eat more food. Just make it real food. Drop a 🔒 if you locking in your nutrition

Get out of here😂😂😂 The shoebill is an extraordinary-looking bird that lives in vast tropical swamps, reed-filled lakes, and slow-moving riverbanks of Africa, especially in Uganda, South Sudan, Zambia, and Tanzania, where dense vegetation helps it both hide and ambush its prey. It typically stands 110–140 centimeters tall, has a wingspan exceeding two meters, and shows gray-blue plumage; its most striking feature is the enormous, shoe-shaped bill with a hooked tip, perfectly adapted for gripping slippery fish and reptiles. It can remain motionless for long periods, then suddenly strike with a powerful snap of its bill when the right moment comes. A strictly carnivorous species, the shoebill feeds mainly on large fish—especially lungfish—along with frogs, snakes, small reptiles, and occasionally young crocodiles. Around humans it is generally shy and avoids settlements, which makes sightings in the wild rare; however, drainage of wetlands, agricultural expansion, and other human activities have steadily reduced its habitat. As a result, populations have declined and the species is protected in many areas, with the conservation of wetlands being vital to its future survival.

The video captures a worker in dark heavy clothing tumbling horizontally through a narrow vertical shaft with textured walls featuring a dense pattern of small protrusions and vertical ridges. During the descent, the person makes a second rebound against the structure, prompting an immediate reaction from bystanders visible at the upper edge. This reflects broader realities in construction and industrial sectors, where economic pressures for rapid project timelines and cost efficiency frequently lead to laborers operating in confined, elevated spaces with minimal visible fall protection or barriers. It illustrates the routine hazards of daily work in these environments, including exposure to unguarded vertical drops amid demanding physical conditions and limited safety infrastructure. Baby boy will not be eating highly processed foods full of filler ingredients, especially something like rice cereal that’s full of more arsenic than their little bodies can handle. . I always feed them real foods and I love to start with bone marrow because it is so incredibly nutrient dense. Around six months old, babies start to need more fat and iron to help support their growing brains and bodies. Bone marrow is full of healthy fats, as well as iron, vitamin A, B12, K2, zinc, and collagen. . Plus, when you whip it up like this, it makes the most creamy, delicious texture that is perfect for first introducing foods to babies! . . . . . #sahm #crunchymom #babysfirstfood #homemaker
