How professional trekkers walk 25+km without getting exhausted?? Covering 25+ km isn’t about raw strength, it’s about technique, pacing, and efficiency. Here’s what pros do differently: 1. They walk slow to go far - Beginners start fast and burn out. Trekkers keep a steady, sustainable pace (often called “rest step” in mountains). It may look slow, but they can keep it going for hours. 2. Rhythm > speed - They sync steps with breathing — like 2 steps inhale, 2 steps exhale. This keeps oxygen flow stable and delays fatigue. 3. Micro breaks, not long breaks- Instead of sitting for 20 mins, they take short 30–60 sec pauses without fully cooling down. Long breaks make your body stiff and restart feels harder. 4. Efficient walking technique- Small steps, especially on climbs. Don’t lock knees. Use hips, not just thighs Slight forward lean while ascending This saves energy over long distances. 5. Fueling like a machine- They don’t wait to feel hungry. Every 45–60 mins: Nuts, dates, energy bars, banana. Constant sipping water (not chugging) 6. Strong but endurance-trained - They train for stamina, not just strength: Long walks/runs, Stair climbing, Weighted backpack training. 7. Mental game is strong - They don’t think “25 km left” — they think: “Next turn”, “Next 10 mins”, “Next checkpoint” 8. Lightweight packing- Less weight = less fatigue. Pros carry only essentials and keep backpack balanced. First few long treks will always feel exhausting. The body adapts fast though — within 3–4 treks, your endurance shoots up. So what do you think?? Can a beginners become a good trekker. #mountains #trekking #ebc #explore #everest

I received a lot of messages about my trip to #EBC.🏔️ While I was there, it felt like the hardest thing I’d ever done. But now that I’m home and I’ve done it, I can honestly say, it’s not as hard as you might imagine. That said, it really depends on each person’s level of fitness.🙌🏻 How did I do it? I didn’t train specifically for it. I did crossfit, I ran and I hiked whenever I had the chance. I fueled myself properly, and that’s how I made it. No, I didn’t train with a huge backpack. I didn’t have a specific plan. But I did try to stay consistent, with a minimum of 4 workouts per week, sometimes even 6. If you dream about it and you want to do it, the only thing standing in your way is your mindset.🤌🏻⚡️

All that being said, I still 1000% would recommend pretty much anyone to go. I’ll also do it again at some point because it’s just such an epic adventure. Most of the way you do have running water. Only at the higher camps (Dughla, Lobuche, Gorakshep) I had no running water. I did eat some buff momos in Namche and felt fine, and the daal bhat is really nice. Just the further up you go and the more time you spend, the less appetite you have for food. At some point I even started hating Snickers, and just couldn’t see them anymore. But keep in mind that most people do it in 10-14 days, and don’t stay 3 weeks like I did. Your body does acclimatise and will feel less breathless and fatigued, but at least for me it took way longer to “feel acclimatised” than I thought it would. I do have asthma, although I don’t think that made much of a difference. This video is not supposed to discourage you. I just posted a lot of “look how beautiful this is” videos and just wanted to share the full picture so you can be prepared. #ebc #everestbasecamp #everestbasecamptrek
