HAHelp a girl out!!!! What should I choose, laser treatment or electrolysis? What type of machine should I be looking into?
I am waiting on my gynaecologist to prescribe me DHT blockers to help thin out my beard and tackle my hirsutism. The DHT blockers will ultimately lessen the production of testosterone within my body!
I am starting the process of getting rid of my facial hair and it truly has been a test of patience and perseverance. The Specialist Dr made me wait over 6 weeks for my MRI test results, and then forgot to call me to discuss my results and next steps! The appointment has been made for this week- I am going to push for those DHT blockers!
What other medicine should I look into as side from Spironolactone? I don’t want to go on the pill. I am scared of putting on the weight I’ve fought so hard to keep off, and I actually enjoy having a monthly period. Right now it’s the testosterone levels that I’d like to minimise.
Once I’m on the DHT blockers, and my facial hair thins out, I’d like either laser treatment or electrolysis! Apparently there are many laser treatment machines to choose from. What one did you prefer?
….also I’ve been told that laser doesn’t fully stop the hair growth, it may cause further hair to sprout (I definitely wouldn’t want that).
Imagine spending a bag full of money only for the hair to come back !!! No thank you!! 😅😂
In that case, will electrolysis be the better option?
