Die Fahrzeuge sind beeindruckend, aber ich glaube, die Hupe/Sirenen sind lauter als in Deutschland oder was sagt ihr? — Firefighters in Charlotte 🇺🇸 Recently, we had an emergency in our neighborhood. The fire truck drove right past us, and both the police and fire department here are so child-friendly! 🥰 Whenever they see kids, they always do something special, like in this video. The vehicles are impressive, but I think the horns/sirens are louder than in Germany. Saying goodbye to this stunning island is bittersweet, but we leave with full hearts (and a full belly). The move here was a sacrifice and so daunting, but looking back, we’re beyond grateful we took the leap. And knowing that makes the next 7700km leap, this time to the UK, a little less scary. It was so easy to do & may even get a bit of money back from it so, nothing to lose 😅 Fun Fact - this song was the first added to my Australian Playlist, everytime it came on we would blast it out singing and picturing ourself on the beach 🏝️ Fast forward 5months and we’re here living it!!! 😍🤍 Anyone else think of other things I may need to tie up back home?
