EXTurn On and Off Conditional Formatting in Excel - Excel Tips and Tricks
Learn how to turn on and off conditional formatting in Excel.
Turning on conditional formatting in Excel is straightforward. Simply select the data range, navigate to the "Home" tab, and click on "Conditional Formatting" in the ribbon. From there, choose the desired formatting rule from the dropdown menu to apply it instantly. Yes, you can toggle conditional formatting by selecting the range with the applied formatting, then accessing the "Conditional Formatting" menu again. From here, you can select "Clear Rules" to remove the formatting entirely or "Manage Rules" to edit or delete specific rules. The "Stop If True" option in conditional formatting allows users to halt further evaluation of rules if a specific condition is met, ensuring subsequent rules aren't applied. To disable conditional formatting altogether, select the data range, go to the "Conditional Formatting" menu, and click on "Clear Rules" to remove all formatting rules applied to the selected range.

3) New Rule...
4) Use formula to determine which cells to format
5) =$F$2=FALSE
6) OK
7) Check on the rule you just added "Stop if True".
