Irene Cara è scomparsa il 25 novembre nella sua casa in Florida. Aveva 63 anni.
A darle la celebrità erano stati i film "Fame- Saranno famosi", in cui aveva il ruolo di Coco Hernandez e in cui cantava la title track e la canzone “Out Here on My Own” e "Flashdance", in cui eseguiva la hit “Flashdance…What a Feeling”.
Nel corso della sua carriera Irene Cara aveva vinto un Oscar (per "Fame") e due Grammy (per “Flashdance…What a Feeling”).
Lo ricordiamo con "Fame", non ti dimenticheremo mai Irene Cara.

ANДо моего дня рождения и нашего прекрасного шоу «Крылья» в Кремле осталось всего 10 дней! Команды начинают постепенно собираться, и вчера у меня была встреча с невероятно талантливыми ребятами — группой студии современного танца «Flash Dance» из Красногорска. Ко мне приехали 24 участника — наши самые первые ласточки!
Провели первую репетицию: делилась с ребятами закулисными секретами, рассказывала о том, как готовится наше шоу, показывала им сценографию, знакомилась с новыми технологиями, объясняла их роли и описывала будущие костюмы. Атмосфера была по-настоящему заряженной — много энергии, позитива и вдохновения! Для меня такие встречи — это не только творческий процесс, но и настоящее обучение, передача опыта и идей. Очень хочется, чтобы ребята увидели гораздо больше, чем просто хореографию пары номеров. Пусть этот опыт расширяет их кругозор, мотивирует мыслить широко и вдохновляет жить креативом — так же, как этим живу я и наша команда создателей шоу «Крылья»!
Я от всего сердца благодарю руководителей коллектива за такое высокое воспитание ребят. Все — интеллигентные, вдумчивые, готовы видеть смыслы, быстро обучаются и, я уверена, готовы покорить Москву. Это очень круто!
Горжусь нашими участниками — ведь это гранд-призёры фестиваля-кастинга «Время лучших», действительно лучшие из лучших.
Спасибо ребятам — вместе у нас получится невероятное шоу!
