RA🏎️🇳🇱🏁Max Verstappen competed in a four-hour endurance race at the Nürburgring Nordschleife as part of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie. Verstappen and his teammates delivered a strong performance during the race and crossed the finish line in first place, finishing nearly a minute ahead of the competition.
However, after the race, officials conducted technical checks and the team was disqualified. The reason was a breach of the tire regulations: the team used seven sets of tires during race day, while the rules only allow a maximum of six.
Because endurance racing regulations are strict, exceeding the tire allocation automatically led to the result being removed, even though the car had won the race on track.
The race still attracted a lot of attention because it showed Verstappen competing outside of Formula One on one of the most difficult circuits in the world, the Nordschleife.
