Personally, I like taking little steps to feel my best. Like most people in our society, I struggle sometimes with aging as it’s not something we celebrate; we haven’t been taught to love our wrinkles and age spots, and this is something that I have to actively work on.
I’ve stopped getting botox (at least for now) after some not-so-great results, but a non-invasive treatment like Halo feels more aligned.

LIHALO® Laser Journey ✨
I’ve been pretty open about what I went through emotionally these past few years — but it took a physical toll too.
The stress and anxiety showed up on my skin. I couldn’t control it. I picked, over-treated, wrecked my skin barrier which made it worse, and led to scarring and a huge hit to my confidence.
My makeup artists and I were working overtime last season trying to cover everything, and I found myself relying on filters and heavy makeup just to feel okay posting, filming, or even going outside. I was embarrassed — I hadn’t had breakouts like that since I was 20.
Once my barrier finally healed and I was cleared to start laser treatments, I chose the HALO® laser. After searching all over Miami, I found @toxwithrox at @drgabesalloum’s clinic. Finding someone truly skilled with lasers is so important — in the wrong hands, these treatments can do more harm than good.
We started with the HALO® by @sciton_inc, a hybrid fractional laser that helps improve the appearance of discoloration, sun damage, uneven tone, the appearance of pores, and scars (including acne scars) — all the things I was struggling with.
Even after one treatment, my skin already looks and feels like the old me again — smoother, brighter, and more even. The scars are fading, my breakouts have cleared, the brown spots are lighter, and I actually feel confident with no makeup.
It’s not just about the glow — it’s about feeling like myself again.
I’ll be doing another session soon and pairing it with a treatment to calm any remaining redness, and I’ll share every step of the process with you. Because if you’ve ever felt like your confidence was hiding under your makeup — I get it. 💫
And I’m working up the confidence to share the raw, unfiltered photos I documented over the past year. They’re not easy to look at — even for me — but I think it’s important to show how much stress and anxiety can impact your skin and that healing is possible inside and out. 💕

THWatch if you dare! It’s pretty scary, but you know I like to keep it real. Day #1 after #halo laser from @operationbeautyny! Obviously, it brought up a lot of sun damage and age spots which will slough off in next few days. Currently: swollen but it is not painful, itchy or hot. I’m excited to see what tomorrow brings.😝
AND….wear sunscreen.
