20 rules I followed to lose 70 lbs from 220 If I had to do it all over again… This is exactly what I’d follow 1. Lift 4–5x a week. Not to “burn fat” but to build muscle. 2. Walk 10k steps a day. No excuses. Even if it’s broken up. 3. Eat 30–40g of protein per meal. 4. Track your calories. Not forever. But long enough to stop guessing. 5. Don’t try to lose weight too fast. 1–2 lbs per week is the sweet spot (biggest mistake I made but if you’re aiming to lose 60-80lbs like I did try not to do it within such a short window). 6. Eat the same meals 80% of the time. Make your diet easy to follow. 7. Get 7+ hours of sleep. This is where your hormones reset. 8. Cut out liquid calories. Soda, juices, frappes. Pointless calories. 9. Stop calling them cheat meals. Plan for them. 10. Only weigh yourself once or twice a week. Not every day. 11. Do cardio, but don’t obsess over it. Muscle is gonna be more beneficial to you in the long run. If you hinder ur recovery it’s gonna make it harder for ur muscles to grow 12. Don’t rely on motivation. Build a system that runs without it. 13. Look up the menu before you eat out. Saves you every time. 14. If you mess up, log it anyway. You don’t get to act like it didn’t happen. 15. Take progress videos. They’ll keep you way more accountable than just pics. 16. Don’t let the weekend undo your weekday progress. 17. Hunger is part of fat loss. Learn the difference between hunger and cravings. 18. Stop watching content all day. Don’t just say do. 19. Stick to your program longer than 3 weeks. Progress is boring. 20. Never go 2 days in a row without tracking. That’s how u fall off follow if you’re tired of staying overweight I’m not here to just give you motivation I’m here to show you what actually works. #weightloss #weightlosstips #weightlossmotivation

When they slept about two hours less per night for three nights, they slowed down by roughly 3%—that’s like a 3-hour marathoner fading to about 3:05:24. But when they extended sleep by about 1.5 hours per night, they sped up by about 3%—closer to 2:54:36. The difference between poor and good sleep? Nearly 11 minutes on a 3-hour marathon.
