🚨 Breaking News 🚨 Aerial footage shows MASSIVE backups after all lanes of 5 Freeway CLOSED due to gas line EXPLOSION in Castaic, California At this time, law enforcement and emergency crews have issued a shelter-in-place order following a major natural gas explosion in Castaic, California. Numerous residents report hearing loud jet-like and thunderous roaring sounds in the area. As a result of the incident, traffic on the I-5 Freeway is backed up for miles after a natural gas leak forced lane closures and emergency shutdowns. Emergency crews are actively working to secure and shut off the gas supply. The cause of the explosion remains under investigation, and officials have not yet released information on potential injuries.
