JONew machine day! Orders for my cabinets are steadily increasing and for sometime I have been rather anxious that my current bandsaw cannot cope with the amount of wood I resaw on a weekly basis. The process can take up to 35 minutes to resaw the components for a large cabinet and I can hear the machine struggle. It’s the biggest log jam in my build process. So, a couple of months ago I decided to take the plunge and invest in a larger more powerful saw that can cope with resawing large volumes of wood. The @feldergroupuk FB510 is a big upgrade for me and something I’ve dreamt about having for over 5 years. Big thank you to my friend @lynbury for helping me with the finances and @beabea__outdoors for helping me get it into the workshop.

MANot my video, but quite interesting, These guys are using a Japanese Taiyo two sided squaring jointer and a quite unique Marunaka Split- table thickness planer. I have only seen photos of one other of the planers.
