In cosmetology school, a lady came in and requested them and my instructor Ms. Angie (heyyy friend) made me learn how to do them on her. 😅 mind you, that lady was dead wrong coming to a cosmetology school for that service because she knew the price would be heavily discounted & this was like 10 years ago so I know they were expensive because they weren’t a super well known service. 😂😂 There are so many ways you can do k tips such as this method or an invisible method and not all k tips are made equal either. However, the stylist lack of education on install and/or lack of at-home care can certainly cause damage to the integrity and growth of the natural hair So let’s be sure, as educated stylists, that we take our time with installs and educate your client on the best ways to care for their investment. Here’s how I ensure a safe install every time ✨ ⬇️density drop down (know and understand the density you’re working with. Remember, fine thinning hair needs more natural hair encased within the bond) ✂️customize the size of each bond 💕match 1:1 density of natural hair to Extension hair 🙅🏼‍♀️look out for pesky cross hairs (use a light spray or water to ensure clean sections and partings) 👆🏼light touch to roll keratin. Calm down with your hulk strength.
