¿Es Visual studio code el sucesor de Emacs? Esto es la opinión de Guido Van Rossum, el creador de Python, acerca de que editor prefiere para programar. Basicamente menciona que tanto Visual Studio Code como Emacs, tienen una arquitectura similar en cuanto como pueden ser extendidos usando Plugins. Emacs usa Lisp como lenguaje de programacion donde los paquetes puedes ser sobrescritos para alterar el editor mientras que visual Studio usa de forma similar paquetes que interactuan con la interfaz Basicamente siendo un espejo de la misma arquitectura de Emacs. De hecho esta es una de las razones por las que VSCode es tan popular, la facilidad con la que se pueden crear extensiones, ademas de poder usar un lenguaje muy conocido como es Javacsript, permite que practicamente puedas hacer de todo con el editor. Otros editores que tambien menciono fue Vim, que lo llego a usar por productvidad, y Pycharm debido a su caracteristica de exploracion de archivos, auqnue dijo que es mucho más complicado extender el editor. #python #vscode #visualstudiocode #programming #programacion
