JE🚨MAJOR BREAKING: Zuckerberg Unveils Major Meta Policy Overhaul to End Unbias Moderating on Instagram
After much backlash from users, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced significant policy changes aimed at enhancing free expression across Facebook and Instagram. The company will end its third-party fact-checking program in the U.S., replacing it with a Community Notes system similar to that of X (formerly Twitter). This shift is intended to reduce content moderation errors and empower users to provide context to posts. Zuckerberg also said that Meta’s moderators who are based in California, are “too politically biased,” so to fix that, moderators will now be based out of Texas. 
Additionally, Meta plans to lift certain topic restrictions and adjust its approach to political content, allowing users who wish to see more political posts in their feeds to do so. The company will focus enforcement on illegal and high-severity violations, aiming to simplify policies and restore free expression on its platforms. 
In collaboration with President Donald Trump, Zuckerberg intends to address international censorship laws that affect American companies, seeking to promote free speech globally. 
These changes come in response to criticism that previous moderation policies were overly restrictive and influenced by political biases. By adopting a community-driven approach, Meta aims to balance the need for accurate information with the fundamental commitment to free expression.

Especially the average artists, musician, and content creator from their content being stolen by AI and replicated! 2️⃣ Scroll down → tap About → tap Privacy Policy. (This explains what Meta may use: email, phone, age, 3rd-party apps.)
3️⃣ Tap the ☰ again → Other policies & articles → How Meta uses information for generative AI models.
4️⃣ Tap Privacy and Generative AI → scroll to Learn more and submit a request here.
5️⃣ On the form: check “I have concern about my personal data.” → tap Send.
6️⃣ Fill in: Country, First name, Surname, Email.
7️⃣ In the prompt/example field, paste one of these (choose the one that fits):
* If Meta AI exposed your data:
When I asked Meta AI about [my account / my posts], it returned my personal info (name/phone/email/age). Example: “[paste exact AI reply if you have it]”.
* If you’re submitting a preventive request:
I am concerned about Meta using my personal data (email, phone number, age, and data from third-party apps) to train generative AI models. I request that my data not be used for training.
8️⃣ Upload a screenshot of the AI reply (if you have one) or a screenshot with a short note.
9️⃣ Add any extra context (where/when it happened, which app — Instagram/Facebook/Messenger) → Submit.
