I got this secondhand from my dad, he passed his ipod down to me after owning and using it for 17 years. before that, I had an ipod mini. 𝗾. 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗽𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀? the most basic answer I have is “use your phone if you have storage space”. but assuming you also want to keep music and your phone separate, I can suggest a snowsky echo mini, the innioasis y1 ipod dupe, or check your local thrift stores / online for pre-owned music players (it doesn’t really need to be an ipod. I just use one because it was handed down to me) ⭑.ᐟ 𝗾. 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗱𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗽𝗼𝗱? I use the official apple itunes software on my laptop/pc for the ipod classic 5th generation and higher. older models like the ipod mini may require a third-party software. 𝗾. 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲? yes, you absolutely can! one of the best pros about owning your own dedicated flac / mp3 player is having complete control over your library, unlike relying on streaming services where some indie and niche artists you like may not be present. you can add the songs, music videos, movies, shows, or podcasts you want as long as you have the files. 𝗾. 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺? ₊˚✩ bandcamp, internet archives, yt to mp3, or I rip music directly from thrifted physical cds I own or borrow from public libraries ദ്ദി(｡•̀ ᗜ<) hope that answered most of it !! if there’s anything else I missed, i’d be happy to answer it 💌 #ipod #ipodclassic #mp3player #physicalmedia #2000saesthetics ₊˚ෆ apple ipod mini nano | y2k aesthetic | 2000s tech | secondhand thrifting | kawaii soft aesthetic | acubi style | heiseo retro | nana manga anime | nana osaki
