THThis blooper was doomed the moment Chris Pratt opened his mouth.
The scene is simple. Andy Dwyer is talking. Ron Swanson is listening. Nothing about it is supposed to be physical, loud, or chaotic. And Nick Offerman is famous for being the one guy on set who almost never breaks. Deadpan, locked in, impossible to crack.
Then Chris Pratt starts improvising.
He casually claims his head weighs eighty-five pounds. Says he was a sixteen-pound baby. Says his mom carried him full-term plus eight extra months like that’s normal. You can already see Offerman fighting it — jaw tight, eyes drifting away, doing everything possible not to react.
And then Pratt drops the final line.
Born with a full head of hair.
And a full head of teeth.
That’s it. That’s the moment. Nick Offerman finally loses the battle. A small chuckle slips out, and once that happens, the take is dead. Chris Pratt knows it. The crew knows it. Everyone knows exactly why they can’t keep going.
This is why Parks and Rec bloopers hit so hard. The writing is already funny, but watching the most controlled actor in the room get taken out by pure nonsense makes it ten times better.

FAOne of the funniest “Nick” moments on The Tonight Show happened during a legendary sketch called “The Chickeneers.” Nick Offerman (famous for playing the stoic Ron Swanson) joined Jimmy Fallon and Blake Shelton, but they weren’t singing normally. Instead, they all wore full-body yellow chicken suits and performed an entirely “clucked” version of the hit song “Ho Hey” by The Lumineers.
