😢 “जा बाबू… अब तू सुकून की नींद सो जा…” यह शब्द उस मां के हैं, जिसने 13 साल से कोमा में पड़े अपने बेटे को आखिरकार बेहद भारी दिल से विदाई दी। यह कहानी है गाजियाबाद के हरीश राणा की। मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, हरीश राणा एक इंजीनियरिंग छात्र थे। 20 अगस्त 2013 को वह चंडीगढ़ में अपने PG की चौथी मंजिल से गिर गए, जिससे उनके सिर में गंभीर चोट लगी और वह गहरे कोमा (Vegetative State) में चले गए। उस दिन के बाद से हरीश की जिंदगी पूरी तरह बदल गई। 👉 वह 13 साल तक बिस्तर पर पड़े रहे 👉 खुद से न बोल सकते थे, न चल सकते थे 👉 सांस और खाना भी ट्यूब और लाइफ सपोर्ट सिस्टम के सहारे चल रहा था। मां-बाप ने इलाज के लिए सब कुछ लगा दिया। पहले चंडीगढ़ में इलाज हुआ, फिर दिल्ली के एम्स में। लेकिन डॉक्टरों ने साफ कहा कि अब उनके ठीक होने की संभावना लगभग खत्म है। 13 साल तक बेटे को इस हालत में देखते-देखते परिवार टूट गया। आखिरकार हरीश के माता-पिता ने अदालत से गुहार लगाई कि उनके बेटे को इस पीड़ा से मुक्ति दी जाए। 11 मार्च 2026 को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने ऐतिहासिक फैसला सुनाते हुए हरीश राणा के लिए ‘पैसिव इच्छामृत्यु’ (Passive Euthanasia) की अनुमति दे दी। फैसले के बाद जब मां बेटे के पास बैठी, तो उसकी आंखों में आंसू थे। वह बेटे के सिर पर हाथ फेरते हुए जैसे कह रही थी— “जा बाबू… अब तू सुकून की नींद सो जा… बहुत दर्द सह लिया तूने।” 13 साल से बेटे की सेवा करने वाली मां के लिए यह फैसला आसान नहीं था, लेकिन बेटे की तकलीफ देखकर उसने वही चुना जो उसे सबसे बड़ी मुक्ति लगा। यह कहानी सिर्फ एक परिवार के दर्द की नहीं, बल्कि उस सवाल की भी है— 👉 क्या कभी-कभी किसी को दर्द से मुक्ति देना ही सबसे बड़ा प्रेम होता है?
