QUThese things show me someone is not a Plus Size ally:
1. You talk about people’s bodies negatively.
Commenting that someone has “let themselves go” or that their body looks bad, even if they can’t hear you is so not cool.
2. You say you “feel fat” when you’re not fat.
Fat is not a feeling, if you feel insecure about how you look then you need to find a better way to express that without putting others down.
3. You leave rude comments on plus size creators posts. Even if you try to hide it under the guise of “caring about their health”, if you have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all.
4. You don’t care if everyone is included.
Arranging plans around things knowing they have weight or size restrictions despite it excluding others. No one wants to shop two shelves of accessories while the rest of the group shops the whole store.
5. You don’t speak up when you see sizeism/fatphobia happening.
Using privilege for good is always a good look!
