The rapid inflation is achieved using compressed gas (typically nitrogen or a mixture of gases) stored in cylinders attached to the slide mechanism. When the deployment is triggered (either automatically when an armed door is opened or manually), a valve is released. * Rapid Expansion: The highly compressed gas flows quickly into the multi-chambered fabric slide.
