If your brain keeps replaying the same negative thought, it’s not because you’re broken. It’s because your brain got good at it. Repetitive negative thinking is a neural loop between your prefrontal cortex and your amygdala. The more you rehearse it, the stronger it gets. That’s Hebb’s Law. Neurons that fire together wire together. So every time you replay that thought, you’re not solving it. You’re training it. You’re installing it deeper. Here’s the shift most people miss. You don’t break overthinking by arguing with it. You break it by interrupting the circuit. Step one. Label it. “There’s my overthinking brain trying to help again.” That simple move activates your prefrontal cortex and calms your amygdala. You go from being in the loop to observing it. Step two. Move your eyes left to right for twenty seconds. That bilateral stimulation disrupts the loop and resets the pattern. This is how you retrain your brain. Not by force. By pattern interruption. Your brain isn’t working against you. It’s working exactly as designed. You just get to decide what it practices. Adjusting the human mindset can be one of the most important yet challenging stages in life to achieve. Changing your mindset often starts with simple awareness. By recognizing negative thought patterns, like self-doubt or a tendency to focus on setbacks, you create the opportunity to reframe them. Instead of seeing a failure as a dead end, a shifted mindset views it as a learning opportunity or a necessary step toward growth. The adjustment is a deliberate practice of replacing restrictive beliefs with empowering ones, fostering resilience, and approaching challenges with curiosity rather than fear. This small shift can fundamentally alter your perception and experience of the world. #motivation #mindsetmatters #fyp #startnow

💡 Ever feel like your thoughts are working against you? CBT highlights common cognitive distortions—thinking patterns that can distort our reality and impact our emotions.  Here’s a look at some key distortions:  1. Overgeneralization: Drawing broad conclusions from a single event.  2. Mental Filtering: Focusing only on the negatives and ignoring the positives. 3. Personalization: Taking responsibility for things outside your control. 4. Labeling: Defining yourself or others based on a single event.  5. Magnification/Minimization: Blowing things out of proportion or downplaying them.  6. Emotional Reasoning: Believing that feelings reflect facts.  7. Black and White Thinking: Seeing things as all good or all bad, with no in-between.  8. Jumping to Conclusions: Making assumptions without evidence.  -Mind Reading: Assuming you know what others are thinking.  -Fortune Telling: Predicting negative outcomes as if they’re certain.  9. Should/Must Thinking: Pressuring yourself with unrealistic expectations.  10. Catastrophization: Expecting the worst-case scenario.  Recognization these distortions is the first step in challenging and changing them. A healthier mindset is just a thought away! 🧠✨   #CBT #CognitiveDistortions #MentalHealth #AlbertEllis #SelfAwareness #PositiveThinking #TherapyTools #MentalWellness

Stop repetitive negative thinking. If your brain keeps replaying the same worst-case scenario, social mistake, regret, or imagined disaster, you do not have a “thinking problem.” You have a reinforcement problem. Here’s what’s happening neurologically: The amygdala flags something as a potential threat. The prefrontal cortex attempts to solve it. The thought gets rehearsed. The circuit strengthens. Repeat that enough times and the pathway becomes efficient. And your brain loves efficiency. It does not care whether the thought is helpful. It cares whether it is practiced. This is Hebb’s Law: Neurons that fire together wire together. So every time you replay the negative thought, you’re not resolving it. You’re upgrading it. That’s why repetitive thinking feels sticky. It’s trained. Here’s how to interrupt the circuit: Step 1: Label it. “There’s my overthinking brain pretending it’s helping.” Labeling creates psychological distance. It activates higher cortical regions. It reduces limbic reactivity. You move from immersion to observation. That changes the entire state. Step 2: Bilateral eye movement. Slowly move your eyes left to right for 20 seconds. This recruits both hemispheres. It disrupts rigid neural firing patterns. It decreases emotional intensity attached to the thought. You’re not arguing with the thought. You’re destabilizing the loop. Repetitive negative thinking isn’t proof you’re flawed. It’s proof your brain is good at practicing. The question is: What are you training it to get good at? Follow me and comment the word UpSpiral, and I will send you more information about my unique manifestation program where we combine neuroscience, nervous system regulation, and identity work to rewire what your brain defaults to. #MentalPerformance #NervousSystemRegulation #OverthinkingHelp #BrainRewiring #UpSpiral

What if instead of pushing away negative thoughts, you welcomed them? They’re not your enemy They’re signals from your brain trying to keep you safe. When you embrace these thoughts without judgment, They lose their power to control you. You create space to understand the real fears beneath the surface. Acceptance is the first step toward freedom. Let your thoughts come and go like visitors No need to hold on or fight. #embraceyourmind #mentalwellness #selfacceptance #mindfulhealing #mentalhealth

Bhagavad Gita : How to stop overthinking? You are not overthinking because you are smart. You are overthinking because something feels unsafe. The mind plans and replays to protect you. That is its job. The suffering begins when every thought feels urgent and true. The Gita’s insight is simple. Don’t fight the mind. Anchor it. Bring attention back to what you are doing now. Hands. Breath. One action. PS - If you want to receive Daily Bhagavad Gita verses on whatsapp, then click the link in bio 📲 #Bhagavadgita #sanatandharma #overthinking #spirituality #krishna
