Ring camera captured something truly inexplicable overnight. Out of nowhere, a massive glowing sphere appeared, moving in a way that didn’t seem natural to our world at all. The footage looks so unusual that it could easily be mistaken for computer graphics but it isn’t. The video is real. While some online reports suggest it might be an optical illusion, scientists have also weighed in. They believe the phenomenon could be a rare and little understood form of ball lightning possibly an entirely new variation. If typical ball lightning can generate around a million volts, then how much energy would something this large contain? Likely far more perhaps even 5 million volts or beyond. It’s unsettling to think about what could have happened if people had been nearby.
