DEEarly mornings, sore legs, doubts in the dark, and pushing when every part of me wanted to stop.
Every long run in the rain, every interval when my lungs screamed, every time I chose the hard road instead of the easy one — it all led to this moment.
Today I crossed the finish line of the First Half Marathon in 1:31:38.
Sub-1:32 on a day when I went out too hard, felt the fade after km 13, had doubts creeping in at km 11, and still refused to break.
This isn’t just a time on a clock.
It’s proof that consistency beats talent when talent doesn’t show up.
It’s proof that you don’t have to feel perfect to perform.
It’s proof that even when you pay for your mistakes (hello, aggressive first half), you can still finish stronger than you think.
To everyone still grinding in silence: keep showing up.
The breakthrough doesn’t always come on the day you expect it — but it comes.
Grateful. Tired. Proud.
And already thinking about what’s next.
