Here’s your realistic 2026 budget (without part-time work) & we’re only talking about if you get an admission letter from a public university 👇
💰 Blocked Account: ₹12 – ₹14 lakhs
(Mandatory for visa)
📄 APS Certificate: ~₹18,000
🎓 University Application Fees (UniAssist + direct unis): ₹5,000 – ₹25,000
(depends on number of applications)
🛂 Visa Fees: ~₹7,500
🏥 Health Insurance (initial): ₹10,000 – ₹15,000
🧳 Travel Insurance: ₹1,500 – ₹5,000
✈️ Flight Tickets: ₹50,000 – ₹65,000
🏠 Initial Setup (rent deposit, groceries, basics): ₹80,000 – ₹1.2 lakhs
💶 Cash in Hand (first few weeks): ₹40,000 – ₹60,000
