_CNursery🌻me jaake agar aap bhi खो जाते हो, here are few plants and tips to keep in mind while shopping-
Sabse pehle it’s time for summer seasonals, acha ye batao I am thinking to do this as a series- “5 ______ plants for your home.” Which one do you want to see next like Indoor plants, Water Plants, Ornamental Plants etc.
Coming back, ideally it’s too late to start from seeds so aap small saplings ya ready plants le aao local nurseries se. Ye max ₹10-20 ke beech me mil jaenge.
Which Summer Flowering Plants to buy right now?
🌸 Apart from the ones shown in video (Sunflower, Zinnia, Cosmos, Gaillardia & Gomphrena) you can look for Portulaca, Purselane, Vinca/सदाबहार. All of them can be potted in 10-12 inch pots.
🌸 If you want permanent flowering plants which bloom in summers only but live with you forever, then aap Hibiscus, Rose, Jasmine, Canna, Bougainvillea, Plumeria/चम्पा, Oleander/कनेर, Gandhraj, Tecoma le sakte ho. These would need bigger pots.
🌸 Aur agar aapko trailing vine wale plants chahiye jo kisi structure ko cover sake while flowering then think of buying Aparajita/Blue Pea, Madhumalti, Morning Glory, Rakhi Flower/Passiflora, Climbing Rose.
2 things to remember while shopping in local nurseries-
➡️ Always choose your baby on your own, don’t leave it on the nursery guy. Look for healthy leaves, no infestation leaves ke backside pe and a plant with most number of buds (not flowers).
➡️ And buy plants according to the space you have, chota area hai go for potted plants in first category, bade pots rakhne ki jagah hai then go for second aur acha bada garden hai to put plants directly in soil go for third category.
One last thing, repotting at night works best for beginners. Don’t disturb the mother soil much and you’ll be good to go 👍🏻
