In subzero conditions, a simple soap bubble behaves very differently than expected. Instead of popping, the thin water film freezes almost instantly as temperatures drop below freezing. The trapped moisture begins to crystallize, and ice spreads across the surface in branching patterns similar to snowflake formation.
Soap plays a critical role here. By lowering surface tension and slowing evaporation, it allows the bubble to maintain its shape long enough for the freezing process to complete. For a brief moment, warmer air inside the bubble supports the structure while the outer layer solidifies.

GU🛄 Als je je koffer maakt, heb je snel dat het een rommeltje wordt. De perfecte oplossing daarvoor zijn de packing cubes van Sunflake. Je kan alles mooi georganiseerd in je koffer stoppen. Je vindt alles snel terug en je kan bovendien ook nog ruimte besparen.

MAThe Koch Snowflake is one of the earliest and most beautiful examples of a fractal — a shape built by repeating a simple geometric rule again and again. We start with an equilateral triangle. Each side is divided into three equal parts, the middle segment is replaced by two segments forming a smaller equilateral “bump,” and the process is repeated forever. This is called an iterative construction in Mathematics.
What makes the Koch Snowflake fascinating is its surprising geometry. With every iteration, the perimeter increases without bound, so the boundary becomes infinitely long. Yet the area stays finite and approaches a fixed limit. This means the figure encloses a well-defined region even though its edge is endlessly detailed. The curve is also nowhere differentiable, so it has no well-defined tangent at any point.
