The brain compares an object to its surroundings. If an object is surrounded by smaller elements, it will appear larger. Conversely, a large object surrounded by larger elements can feel miniature. The brain holds a mental template for everyday objects (like a smartphone, a person, or a car). If a graphic shows a car smaller than a phone, the brain experiences a "size discrepancy" and feels the image is wrong. Follow us/@sciencebreed #sci #physics #instagram #sciencebreed

Então me diz… 🤔 o que ainda existe lá embaixo que ninguém viu? ⸻ Quer aprender a criar vídeos que prendem a atenção das pessoas? 🔥 Entre no meu perfil e acesse o link da bio. #reelsinstagram #viralvideos #fofo #humor #objeto

Follow us (@PEEPER) for more! 👀 This object is a gravity-fed candle holder designed to control how melted wax moves as the candle burns. Instead of dripping randomly, the wax is guided into a channel where it cools, collects, and can be reused. The angled position keeps the flame stable while gravity does the work, directing liquid wax away from the wick and preventing buildup around the flame. Similar designs have been explored in experimental and decorative candle systems to improve burn consistency and reduce waste. It’s a small example of how simple physical principles like gravity and heat flow can be used to rethink even the most familiar everyday objects. This post captures a demonstration illustrating the principles of atmospheric pressure and vacuum seals. This setup shows how creating a pressure difference can cause an object, such as this plastic container, to adhere firmly to a surface—in this case, a person's skin. When the air inside the container is removed or displaced, the higher atmospheric pressure outside pushes the container against the surface, creating a vacuum-like seal. While this visual method is sometimes compared to cupping therapy, it is presented here as a physics demonstration of hydrostatic pressure and vacuum mechanics. Disclaimer: This is a physics demonstration for educational purposes. Do not attempt to replicate this or any similar practices on yourself or others, as it may cause skin irritation, bruising, or other physical harm.

At a subatomic level, what we perceive as "touch" is actually just electromagnetic repulsion. Every atom is surrounded by a cloud of negatively charged electrons. Because charges repel, the electrons in your hand push against the electrons in an object long before they ever make contact, leaving a microscopic gap of empty space between you. However, according to quantum mechanics, these particles behave like probability waves rather than solid objects, meaning there is a non-zero statistical chance that they could "tunnel" through the barrier of another object rather than bounce off. If you were to defy this repulsion and force the nuclei of the atoms to actually touch, you would overcome the Coulomb barrier and trigger nuclear fusion, releasing a massive amount of energy. The video is funny because it shows a cat with what looks like a very short memory span reacting to the same object over and over again. A metronome is ticking on the floor, and every time the cat looks at it, it gets confused or startled like it has never seen it before, even though it was just looking at it a second ago. The caption saying the cat has a “memory span of less than 1 bpm” makes the joke better, because bpm is used for the metronome speed, so it sounds like the cat forgets things slower than the metronome ticks. The humor comes from the repeated reaction and the idea that the cat keeps scaring itself because it can’t remember what the object is.

The video demonstrates a precise, hands-on technique involving a transparent plastic tool used to manipulate a small, light-colored object on a green grid-patterned cutting mat. The person’s fingers are shown carefully guiding the tool with deliberate movements, emphasizing control and accuracy. At the beginning, a voiceover explains that the method is effective for aligning angles and securing edges, particularly useful for tiling and decorative work involving fabric or similar materials. The scene remains static throughout, with no changes in camera angle or background, focusing entirely on the fine motor skills and tool usage. The entire process highlights craftsmanship and precision in a DIY or craft context. #CraftingTools #AcrylicTemplate #TextileCrafts #SewingTechniques #CraftingTips
