How to lay wall tiles so they look expensive and professional? 🧱✨ The secret isn’t in the tile itself, but in the layout! Most beginners make two key mistakes that make even the most expensive tile look cheap and sloppy.
✅ REMEMBER THIS RULE: Never start tiling from the bottom corner!
❌ WHAT HAPPENS WITHOUT PLANNING:
➖ An ugly, skinny strip of tile right under the ceiling.
➖ Uneven, mismatched cuts on the sides of the wall.
This result instantly gives away amateur work and ruins the whole look.
✅ HOW TO DO IT RIGHT:
Just 5 minutes of planning solves everything!
1. Plan the vertical layout. Measure the wall height. If the top row would be too narrow, immediately cut down the VERY FIRST bottom tile. This is the magic trick of the pros!
2. Plan the horizontal layout. Find the center of the wall and start tiling FROM THE CENTER, working your way out. This way, the cuts on both sides will be perfectly equal and symmetrical.
The result: perfect, balanced tilework that looks flawless and expensive. This simple life hack will save you stress, materials, and transform any renovation!
