To escape their territory you need to swim DOWN and BACK. Do NOT swim up, as they will come from below you. No fish was harmed in the filming of this video. This fish was not provoked on purpose. It’s the triggerfish 😅 👇🏼 Here’s what likely happened in this video: I was snorkeling in Okinawa, everything was perfectly fine until this happened. It was nesting season, and I probably got too close to its nest. Triggerfish are super territorial during nesting season and will charge at anyone who gets too close. Most are pretty chill… until you meet an angry one. Heute ist für mich der Albtraum aller Meeresliebhaber wahr geworden 🫣 Ich bin einem Picasso triggerfish (Drückerfisch) begegnet, der wohl gerade sein Revier verteidigt hat. An dem Tag habe ich viele von diesen Fischen gesehen, aber er war tatsächlich der Einzige, der mich angegriffen hat. Sie gelten als nicht ganz ungefährlich, da sie mit ihren Zähnen starke Bisswunden verursachen können. Zum Glück ist mir nichts passiert. Er hatte es eher auf meine Kamera abgesehen 😆🙏 Da ich gerade im Urlaub bin, gibt es ausnahmsweise mal etwas anderes als den üblichen #calisthenics Content 😂🫡 #triggerfish#snorkeling#diving#underwater
