I’ve never been back to my mother country but I hope to visit the Philippines 🇵🇭, Thailand🇹🇭 and other Asian countries. . I used to have Europe on my travel bucket list I’ve been to Paris, France and Germany I was hoping to return to explore France ,visit Italy for the first time see all the blue in Greece and see beautiful Germany again but since my street horticulturist UBE studies the Philippines has knocked them out of their place. 🤣 . From what my husband and others has told me it’s a long azz 12 hour flight so if I ever go on an Asian country tour I might as well visit more than one. . The one think I’m thinking about is that the food must be so good and as Ate Sheri would say “Berrrry Presh POOD!!! 🤣✌️ . Living in Oregon we have the opportunity to get the freshest Asian veggies in the Spring and Summer. We can grow some foods during our growing season but not all. I always see a lot of produce grown in Hawaii being sold at our local market. Especially yummy tropical fruits like custard apple (Atis), mangos, dragon fruit, the best papayas etc. Having fresh local produce makes a huge difference in taste. I’m still thinking about the tasty papayas in Miami.✌️Growing locally means fruits can get ripe on the plant/tree/vine . I’m praying and working on myself for better health so I can see my dream come into fruition.
