You’re not supposed to be hungry 24/7 even if you’re being ‘good’ - Shrinking your lunch down to three bites and calling it ‘being good’ isn’t helping you build a strong, energised body… It’s just keeping you stuck in that exhausting cycle of being hungry, tired, and making you completely reliant on willpower. Instead of cutting down to bird size portions, you want to fill your plate with high-volume, nutrient-dense foods. Focus on protein, fibre, whole foods. These meals will actually fuel you, AND fill you up 🤝 Plus, a full plate built around those ingredients will often have the same, or less, calories than a tiny plate packed with more dense foods. Your choices matter. You’re not meant to be starving your way through the day. That’s not discipline — that’s just diet culture conditioning that will eventually lead you to throw in the towel. Even if your goal is fat loss, you’re not just allowed to feel full and satiated, you SHOULD feel that way.
