Lighting depends on the Sun's path in the Tropics. The further south, the more reflection off the dome, hence longer days of summer. And vice versa. End of March start of April, spring equinox we get equal days and nights South and North and that's how seasons change. The Sun's light is 12,742 kms at any given time. June Solstice and December Soltice. The Sun's journey in and out of the Tropics. Just like Clock work. Look up the Analemma.... This is why there is NO 24 HR SUN in Antarctica.
