👉🏻 Level up your basics and advanced movements just come easy. All of these advanced ab exercises are fun, and useful in the right cases, but I didn’t train to be able to do any of these. By the time I tried any of them, they were already easy because I’d built my ab and oblique foundations more intelligently first 🤓. If you want to optimise your core development particularly for calisthenics or advanced movements like these, I recommend: ➡️ Pick 1-2 DYNAMIC and 1-2 ISOMETRIC basics that target your abs and obliques specifically ➡️ Level them up until you’re maxing out their hard variations (with perfect control) E.g. Advance hanging knee raises (dynamic) ➡️ to slow and strict toes to bar. Advance a basic plank (isometric) ➡️ to a straight-arm long lever plank Want abs that look as strong as they feel? Comment CUT and I’ll send you my favourite techniques for staying lean all year round 💪🏻

There’s a time and place for weight training - no doubt - we love using weights - BUT, you don’t need them to build a strong and healthy body that moves well and feels great. Since we started this style of training the old man has been injury free for over seven years now and the boys are building strength and muscle as well as building mobility, skill and mastering difficult moves Whilst before the gym was “me time” - our daily exercise has become “we time”, bringing us closer and making us stronger both physically and as a family.
