Uncover a strength and power you didn’t even realise was within you. 2️⃣ Creates Challenge without following the path of extreme postures: There will come a time when your physical practice will need it’s next challenge and if you’re not interested in the crazy extreme poses (like I’m not) adding weights can be the accessible solution ! 3️⃣ Adding weights to your practice will 10000% unlock a whole new level of physical and mental power, growth and healing. (I speak from my experience) 4️⃣ Improved power & flexibility: By incorporating weights, there is an increase in overall strength and muscle tone and contrary to belief, weight training can actually improve flexibility through improving mobility. Here’s a routine to try taken from my newest class in the EMY studio - Yoga with Weights part 6! 💥 Chair Tip Toe Pulse x 10 💥 Chair Pose Step backs x 10 💥 Single Leg Chair Pose Squats x 10 💥 Warrior 3 Hinges x 10 💪🏼 listen to your body with reps. Mine are guides not rules. I’d recommend if you’re new to weights lower the reps to 5 as this routine looks “simple” but it’s a real 🌶️ one!
