RAIt was called Crabsect (removing the Para) I also had like lots of ideas for it so ill paste them here:
Basically an alternate Paras evolution, I called it Crabsect before I actually drew it. (Now it looks a bit more like a spider-)
Paras would evolve into crabsect if specific requirements are met, the main one being a very high friendship with the trainer. This is because it’s like… Based on how much effort you would put into helping it. I also think it’d be cool if the amount of things it’s eaten also played a factor, since the mushrooms on paras suck out all the energy n nutrients.
Crabsect would be faster and has stronger attacks than Parasect, but it in return becomes more frail, with less defense. It is still recovering after all!
Some fun facts:
-The silk around its body is sort of to protect itself. It’s wrapped around the area where the mushrooms were most prominent, and the area is very sensitive.
-Crabsect would be terrified of mushrooms and other fungi, probably don’t put it an amoonguss in the same room together!
-Crabsect would most likely be very hesitant to people, especially after first evolving. Once it remembers its trainer, it’s somewhat clingy!
-Crabsect cannot be found in the wild, it takes someone’s direct intervention to save the paras to let it evolve.

ポケモンの世界に隠された「最恐の都市伝説」を知っていますか？
初代から登場するおなじみの「パラセクト」。
実は、進化前のパラスとは決定的な違いがあるんです。
それは「目」👁️
パラスの目はキラキラと輝いていますが、パラセクトになると白目になり、意思を失ったような表情に…。
その理由は、背中の大きなキノコにありました🍄
図鑑の説明をよく読むと、衝撃の事実が書かれています。
「からだよりも 大きな キノコが パラセクトを あやつっている」
つまり、パラセクトの本体は下の虫ではなく、上に乗っている「キノコ」そのもの。
虫はすでにキノコに寄生され、栄養を吸い尽くされた「抜け殻」だという説が濃厚なんです…。
モチーフになったのは、実在するキノコ「冬虫夏草（とうちゅうかそう）」。
昆虫に寄生して体を乗っ取る、現実世界の恐怖がポケモンにも反映されているのかもしれません💀

BI¡Los famosos Pokemon zombie están aquí!
Estos Pokemon son de los más terroríficos que hay del mundo Pokemon y todos lo sabemos, desde que nace Paras ya tiene implantada la mu3rt3 en su caparazón, en su coraza crecen dos setas parásitas que le fueron puestas cuando era un huevo, las setas se desarrollan y terminan por consumir todos los nutrientes que este requiere, por lo que finalmente el insecto ya no puede seguir, se atrofia, y es el momento en que las setas cruzan la delgada línea... Y dominan totalmente a Paras, aquí ocurre la evolución, Parasect no es más que el cascarón vacío de lo que alguna vez fue un tierno Pokemon bicho.
El nombre de Paras proviene del diminutivo de la palabra Parasite y el de Parasect, de la misma palabra fusionada con Insect.
Para finalizar en el anime vemos como una entrenadora quiere evolucionar a su Paras para hacer una medicina especial, se pasa todo el capítulo pensando de forma egoísta y manipulando al Paras que no quería evolucionar, hasta que al fin logra lo que quiere...
