पपीते की ग्राफ्टिंग उतनी मुश्किल नहीं जितनी लोग सोचते हैं—
सही तरीका अपनाओ, और पौधे जल्दी फल देना शुरू कर देते हैं 👇👇
👉 1. सही पौधा चुनें (Rootstock + Scion)
Rootstock = मजबूत, बीमारी-रोधी पौधा
Scion = मीठी किस्म वाला नया स्वस्थ कलम
👉 2. T-Shaped कट बनाएं
Rootstock पर हल्का “T” आकार का कट
जिसमें कलम आसानी से फिट हो जाए।
👉 3. Scion को स्लाइड करके सेट करें
पपीते की कोमल टहनी को
T-कट के अंदर हल्के से डालकर फिट करें।
👉 4. ग्राफ्टिंग टेप से बाँध दें
कट हवा से न खुले इसलिए
पूरे जोड़ को अच्छी तरह टेप से बाँधना ज़रूरी है।
👉 5. छाया + नमी = सफलता
7–10 दिन पौधे पर सीधे सूरज की रोशनी न पड़े।
हल्की नमी बनाए रखें।
👉 6. 15–20 दिन में कलम जुड़ने लगती है
जैसे ही नई बढ़वार दिखे,
समझिए ग्राफ्टिंग सफल!
👉 7. जल्दी फल देने का फायदा
ग्राफ्टेड पपीता

FOEvery tree started as a tiny seed, and at the nursery, it’s no different! 🍋 🌳
It’s the time of year for planting citrus rootstock seeds. This is an exciting part of the citrus propagating process, as it is the first and most important step- growing the rootstock part of the plant, which will ultimately be the root systems of each of the citrus trees.
First in the process is filling the small seedling pots with special soil. From here, the trays are fed through the seeding machine, double checked, and then stacked up. They are then placed 2,000 per bench and watered and cared for every day.
Once it is mature enough, The top part of the rootstock seedling will be cut off and a scion branch, such as a Meyer lemon or Valencia Orange, will be grafted and attached with a rubber tie. Those two branches will eventually fuse together to form a little tree!
Our planting team is also the amazing talent behind grafting the citrus trees, and they graft hundreds of thousands of trees every year!
New! We now have rootstock seedlings available for sale on our website in 6 and 20 packs. Varieties include Flying Dragon, Citrus Macrophylla, C-35 and Carrizo.

WITaking advantage of a bit of frost to cut back our rootstock without sinking in the mud.
We often get asked why we cut back trees we just planted the year before. This is because the trees may be grafted (budded specifically) and we want to guide the growth into that new bud inside of our rootstock but its also that seedlings do not grow straight enough naturally in a field to meet landscape specifications. So even our native trees get the same treatment such as these red maples.
We will spend the year guiding these trees up to produce a straight stem, follow us to see the next steps on the journey of our trees.
