How I went from running a 5km in 28mins to 23mins with a knee injury👇🏻 STRENGTH TRAINING I aimed for strength training about 2-3 times a week alongside my running SLEEP I made sure I was getting good sleep between 7-8 hours a night to ensure my body was well rested INCREASING CADENCE I increased my cadence which helps reduce load through my knee which made a huge difference REDUCED PACE AND DISTANCE I always went out full pace trying to always beat PBs but I found this flared my knee up quickly and set me back. I also used to aim for completing big distances instead of celebrating the small wins like running 2km pain free Comment below if you are suffering from an injury and what you have found to help👇🏻 I am here to help!
