A few moves to get a sense of the abs & hamstrings, both of which help tilt the pelvis posteriorly. ⤵️⤵️⤵️ ❇️Swiss ball pelvic tilts - a ball is a great teacher b/c it rolls according to what the pelvis does! I added a reach here to help keep the ribcage from crunching down. ❇️Foam Roller standing pelvic tilts - Reach for floor, then imagine tucking sit bones underneath you to roll the roller up. Also a great way to relieve “tight” hamstrings 😉. ❇️Quadruped pelvic tilts - Keep upper body still, focusing on “tucking tailbone” &/or “tilting belt buckle towards your face.” Add band resistance & a tactile cue to keep T spine stable! ❇️Proximal hamstring bridge - a small movement, but will LIGHT your hammies up when performed properly. “Peel” hips off floor by gently dragging heel down wall. Abs & butt cheeks stay loose! As it is QUITE impossible to cover this topic thoroughly in an instagram post, let’s start the conversation!
