How often do we assume we know what’s happening in someone else’s life? In my upcoming conversation with psychiatrist and neuroscientist Dr Amir Levine, we explore how our attachment styles shape the way we relate to others, and how easily misunderstandings can arise. The way we perceive others’ actions is filtered through our own experiences, fears, and patterns. Understanding attachment can help us respond with empathy, build more secure relationships, and feel safer in how we connect. COMING SOON to my ‘Feel Better, Live More’ podcast!🎧

In episode 38 of F&T we get into some of the Adlerian school of thinking - namely that most of our problems stem from our inter-personal relationships. If you’ve gone from loving your partner to suddenly being irritated by everything they do - you might be too far gone for this snippet! If you’re in the early stages though and wanting to address a small thing with care so that it doesn’t become a resentment, then Adler would have your back. Allowing your relationship to degrade because of this thing that you didn’t address and allowed to repeat thus deepening your resentment is what he’s trying to prevent. Can you relate? Do you agree?

Most partners aren’t trying to hurt you. They’re acting from their worldview, not malice. When you assume positive intent, disagreements become solvable — and connection gets stronger instead of weaker. Watch the full episode by clicking the link in the bio.

In this video, I talk about something most of us struggle with but rarely admit — holding onto hurt. We’ve all been hurt. Betrayed. Disappointed. Misunderstood. And sometimes, we justify holding onto that pain because it feels like protection. It feels like control. But what if the very thing you’re holding onto is the thing that’s holding you back?

LOYALTY AND THE PEOPLE WHO STAY. Lex reflects on the idea that the people you choose to share your life with matter deeply. He points out that real loyalty isn't about words or labels - it's about showing up for each other, especially when life gets difficult. Andrew adds that hardship is the clearest filter for friendship. Challenges quietly reveal who stands with you, who steps forward when things get messy, and who remains consistent when everything else shifts. Their exchange shows that meaningful relationships aren't built on convenience they're built on presence. When someone supports you publicly, privately, and during moments when no one else is watching. that's when you understand the value of connection. True friendships elevate your journey, fuel your growth, and remind you that even during the hardest seasons, you're not walking alone. The question no one wants to answer! In this video I pose questions no one so far has been willing to answer that would end the judgements and victim-perpetrator-rescuer dynamics playing out all over socials. I have seen the hate and deep misunderstanding from this interview that paints Dr Demartini as a perpetrator with damaging assumptions being made. This kind of reactivity doesn’t lead to healing - hurt people, hurt people - And on and on it goes. If you are interested in a peaceful solution, I challenge you to answer the questions I have asked both Aubrey and Demartini in this video that bring us back together ❤️🙏 @aubreymarcus @drjohndemartini @jefffosterofficial #aubreymarcuspodcast #freedomtogether

Do you know when you’re wearing your performative hat vs. showing up as your true self? 🤔 @alansteinjr talks about authenticity not just as a motivational speaker, but how it shows up in his personal life. 👉🏼 The internal conflict of how I ‘should be’ versus who I truly am- is one we can all relate to. Tune in to this week’s Ivy Unleashed episode to hear a real, raw and vulnerable conversation about how to bounce back when life requires you to pivot. 🔄 🎧 Listen wherever you get your podcasts! _ #nextplaymindset #AlanSteinJr #emotionalresilience
