TUCalisthenics is basically a sport that relies on your own bodyweight. However, it comes in many types, such as static, dynamic, street lifting, and endurance.
Each of these disciplines has its own specific way of training.
Especially in static movements, many people believe that “as long as we strengthen our shoulders and core, we will be able to do a planche.”
Unfortunately, it’s not that simple.
If the shoulder and core muscles are not trained in a specific way and do not directly target the goal of achieving a full planche, that skill will not be unlocked.
The key to static movements is training the exact muscles used in a specific static skill, using a training program that is specific and goal-oriented.
This allows the muscles to properly adapt to the demands of the planche movement.
