When your hips are rotated, tilted, or elevated unevenly, your spine compensates, and your upper back rounds forward. So forcing your shoulders back without addressing the pelvis just adds tension on top of imbalance. Instead, try this: the lying leg elevation stretch. Posture correction routine : 1️⃣ Child’s Pose (1 minute) This stretch helps release a tight chest, shoulders, and lats, which often pull the shoulders forward. Sit your hips back toward your heels, extend your arms in front, and slowly drop your chest toward the floor. Focus on deep breathing and relaxing your upper body. 2️⃣ Cobra Pose (1 minute) Cobra pose stretches the abs and hip flexors while relieving lower-back stiffness caused by long sitting hours. Lie on your stomach, place your palms under your shoulders, keep your arms straight, and gently push your chest up while keeping the pelvis on the floor. 3️⃣ Around-the-World (3 sets of 15 reps) This movement strengthens the mid-back muscles that help pull the shoulders back. Lie face-down, lift your arms slightly off the floor, and move them in a wide circular motion while keeping your neck neutral. Do this daily for better posture over time.
