GOTom Hardy as Bane is absolutely iconic! 🤯 Seriously, his intensity on screen is just 🔥. Did you know he actually wore a mask that was specifically designed to hide his mouth movements? CISpeaking with IMDb, Powell recalled how things went sideways. “He’s supposed to give me a little bit of a tap on the back of the head. So, we did it a few times. We all nail it. It was great. And then this last time … he just slammed my head on the keyboard. And I remember just, like, getting kind of dazed.”
But Powell chalked it up to both actors being immersed in their roles. “I think we all just got kind of caught up in it”, he said.
According to Powell, cinematographer Wally Pfister then joked that he forgot to roll camera, prompting director Christopher Nolan to ask: “You think you can do it again just like that?”
Powell’s response? “Absolutely!”
Nolan then let him off the hook, admitting, “We’re kidding. Go see a medic.”
