If you are not sure what weight to select, start light and work your way up. 3. Keep your feet flat on the floor or on a stable part of the bench.Make sure your upper back and the back of your head are supported by the bench. 4. Hold the end of the dumbbell with both hands and extend the arms straight up so that the weight is directly above your chest. 5. Try and keep your arms straight but not locked. ☝️Must follow the guidelines only then try on yourself guys, be safe, be healthy. The cable pullover on a bench is often considered better than the dumbbell pullover for a few key reasons, especially when you’re targeting specific muscles or trying to control the movement more precisely: 1. Constant Tension • Cable pullover provides constant tension throughout the entire range of motion, including the start and end of the movement. This keeps your lats and/or chest under load continuously. • Dumbbell pullovers lose tension at the top of the movement (when the dumbbell is over your chest), making the movement less effective in that range. 2. Better Lat Isolation • The cable path is more in line with the natural arc of the lats, so you can get a deeper stretch and better contraction, especially if you’re trying to grow your lats. • Dumbbells tend to recruit more stabilizers and can also shift tension toward the chest and even triceps, depending on your form. 3. More Control & Safety • Cables allow for a smoother, more controlled movement, especially if you’re lying on a bench. • Dumbbells require you to stabilize a heavy weight over your head, which can feel risky on your shoulders or elbows—especially at the bottom of the movement. 4.
