Your pelvic floor (and core) will thank you.⁠ 1️⃣ Quadruped hover with yoga block: On hands and knees, place a block between your thighs, lift your knees an inch off the floor, and hold while breathing deeply.⁠ 2️⃣ Bridge with yoga block: Lie on your back, block between thighs, lift hips slowly, squeeze gently at the top, and lower with control.⁠ 3️⃣ Wall sit with block/ball squeeze: Slide down the wall until knees are at 90°, block between thighs, and hold for 30–45 seconds while maintaining steady breathing.⁠ ⁠ Save this for your next pelvic floor routine. Self-Determination Theory suggests we stay motivated when we feel both in control and competent. Try designing your own session: intervals on the Skill Mill mixed with core exercises you enjoy. The variation gives your brain novelty and your body challenge, which together help sustain focus and motivation. But stick to the same for at least 4 weeks … Long-term: To make cardio something you actually look forward to, start tracking your progress beyond calories or time. Notice how your heart rate recovers faster, your thoughts quiet down sooner, and your energy feels more stable through the day. These changes reflect improvements in neuroplasticity and dopamine regulation, the physiological foundations of motivation and emotional resilience.
