POV: you made the creamiest butter chicken 😍 You need: • 500g chicken thighs • 1 cup Greek yogurt • 3 garlic cloves • 1 tbsp grated ginger • 1 tsp turmeric • 1 tsp chilli powder • 1 tsp garam masala • ⁠1 tsp salt • 1 tbsp lemon juice • 1 tbsp fennel seeds (optional) • 2 tbsp butter • 1 small onion • 1 cup chopped tomatoes • ½–1 cup double cream • Salt P.S. you use the same spices and quantities for the meat and the sauce. Marinate (30 mins minimum / overnight = elite): Yogurt + garlic + ginger + spices + chicken. Cook: 1. Sear or broil chicken in butter until golden. Remove. 2. Same pan → sauté onion, garlic and ginger. 3. Add passata and the spices. Simmer 5–7 mins. Then blend until smooth. 4. Stir in cream. 5. Add chicken back. Add in some butter and coriander if you’d like :) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SOFT GARLIC NAAN (NO OVEN) You need: • 2 cups plain flour • 1 tsp sugar • ½ tsp salt • 1 tsp baking powder • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt • ~¾ cup warm water • 2 tbsp melted butter • 2 garlic cloves (minced) • Fresh coriander Make: 1.Mix dry ingredients. 2. Add yogurt + water → form soft dough. 3. Knead 5 mins. Rest 30 mins. 4. Divide, roll into ovals. 5. Cook in a hot dry pan 1–2 mins per side 6. Cowboy butter steak bites ✨ Ingredients Steak - 2 pounds ribeye or sirloin steak, cubed - 1 tbsp neutral oil - 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp garlic powder - Salt and pepper to taste (generous amount) “Caramelized” onions - 1 large yellow onion, sliced - 1 tsp granulated sugar - Heaping pinch of salt Cowboy butter - 12 tbsp unsalted butter - 5 garlic cloves, minced - 1 shallot, minced - 1 lemon, freshly squeezed - 1 tbsp Dijon mustard - 1 heaping tbsp parsley, chopped - 1 heaping tbsp chives, chopped - 1 tsp thyme - 1 tsp cayenne powder (adjust to heat preference - 1/2 tsp red chili flakes - 1/2 tsp smoked paprika - Salt to taste Instructions - Toss cubed steak with oil, Worcestershire, garlic powder, and a generous amount of salt & pepper. Set aside while the pan heats. - Heat a skillet over medium heat with a little oil or butter. - Add onions, sugar, and salt. Cook 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft, golden, and jammy. Remove from pan and set aside. - Crank heat to medium-high/high.
Add steak in a single layer (work in batches if needed). - Sear 2–3 minutes per side until deeply browned. Remove and set aside. Lower heat to medium. - Add butter to the same pan. Once melted, add garlic and shallot — cook ~30 seconds until fragrant. - Stir in lemon juice, Dijon, parsley, chives, thyme, cayenne, chili flakes, smoked paprika, and salt. - Add steak back to the pan. - Toss to coat in the butter sauce for 1–2 minutes. - Serve over creamy mashed potatoes and enjoy! • • • #foodreels #recipe #dinnerideas #recipeideas #explore

Japanese long fries RECIPE ⬇️ Ingredients 3 large potatoes 3-4 tbsp cornstarch 1 tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp chilli flakes 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp dried parsley Oil for deep frying Instructions Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks. Boil in salted water for about 12–15 minutes until very soft. Drain the potatoes and mash until smooth with no lumps. Let it cool Season Add: salt black pepper garlic powder paprika Chilli flakes cornstarch Parsley Mix well until the mixture becomes a soft dough-like texture. Put the potato mixture into a ziplock bag. Flatten it evenly to about 1–1.5 cm thick. Place the bag in the fridge for 30 minutes so the mixture firms up. Remove from the bag and cut into long fry shapes. Heat oil to 180°C (350°F). Carefully place fries into the oil. Important: Do not move them for the first minute so they set and don’t break. The most amazing crispy potato recipe ever. Quarter 1 lb potatoes of choice. Soak in ice water for 15 min. Drain and pat dry. Add 1 tbsp baking soda and 1 tbsp salt to boiling water. Add potatoes and boil for 20 min. Drain. Preheat oven to 400. Add 2 tbsp avocado oil to a 9x12 glass baking dish and put glass dish with the oil in the oven to heat for 10 min. Take baking dish out of oven carefully. Add potatoes and toss in the hot oil. Add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper. Bake at 425 for 40-45 min. Creamy Cajun Crisscross Chicken Pasta I’ve made this countless times, and it alwaaays a hit 🌟 Ingredients (2 big portions) Chicken • 2 chicken breasts • Salt & black pepper • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning • ½ tsp paprika • ½ tsp dried thyme • ½ tsp dried oregano • Olive oil or butter, for frying Pasta • 200 g/ 7 oz pappardelle (or fettuccine, tagliatelle, penne, whatever you like) • Pasta water, reserved Sauce • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter • 1 small onion, finely diced • 3–4 cloves garlic, freshly grated • 1 bell pepper, diced small • 1½ tbsp tomato paste • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning • 1 tsp paprika • 1 tsp dried oregano • chili flakes (to taste) • 1 tsp chicken bouillon powder • 350 ml/1 ½ cup heavy cream • 50 g/½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese • Optional: 1 tbsp butter • 1-2 handfuls fresh spinach Instructions 1. Wash and pat chicken dry. Score both sides in a crisscross pattern. Season generously with salt, pepper, Cajun spice, paprika, thyme, and oregano, pressing seasoning into the cuts. 2. Heat a pan over medium-high with oil or butter. Sear chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and rest. 3. Boil pasta in well-salted water until just al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain. 4. In the same pan, add oil if needed. Sauté onion until soft. Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant. Add Cajun seasoning, paprika, oregano, chili flakes, and bouillon powder. 5. Add tomato paste and cook 1–2 minutes until darker. Stir in bell pepper and cook 2–3 minutes. 6. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add spinach, chicken boullion and ½ cup pasta water and stir until smooth and glossy. 7. Add pasta directly to the sauce. Toss over low heat, adding more pasta water if needed until the sauce thickly coats the noodles. Stir in Parmesan (and butter, if using). 8. Add chicken on top.
