AVOID: caffeine, eggs, pork, canola oily, dairy and gluten I removed these foods - YES it was hard but not being pregnant was harder. I focus daily on bringing in new foods from the below list. Hungry snack on fruit - berries so important. FRUIT for fertility!! Don’t leave the house without it. I kept all fats, salts and oils out until Midday. Trust me this works. Your body can detox and heal at such a rapid rate. I did 1 x original 369 cleanse. Avocadoes, red apples, dates, bananas, berries, cherries, grapes, lemons and limes, melons, oranges and tangerines, coconut, nettle leaf, raw honey, red clover, artichokes, celery juice, heavy metal detox smoothie, red cabbage, broccoli, kale, collard greens, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, green cabbage, cucumbers, leafy greens, potatoes, sprouts & microgreens, garlic, raspberry leaf, berries, grapes, mangoes I never took supplements however, here are what Medical Medium does recommend: Supplements for Female Infertility: Fresh celery juice (work your way up to 32 ounces or 1litre) 5-MTHF Ashwagandha Barley Grass Juice Powder B-complex Curcumin Elderflower EPA & DHA (fish free) Hibiscus Lemon Balm L-lysine Nascent Iodine Nettle Leaf Raspberry leaf Raw honey Rose hips Selenium Spirulina Vitamin B12 (as adenosylcobalamin with methylcobalamin) Micro C Vitamin D3 Wild blueberry Zinc sulphate Every time I plugged my phone into charge I would say our allowed I am pregnant. Medical medium speaks of this in his podcast. All information is from Medical Medium books xoxo

Things I’d never do if I was trying to get pregnant (from a fertility doctor): When it comes to fertility, some things are out of your control — but these are mistakes I would never ignore: 1. Ignore irregular cycles – Your period is a monthly report card. Irregular or absent cycles can signal PCOS, thyroid issues, or ovulation problems. 2. Wait too long for help – Under 35 and trying for 1 year (or over 35 for 6 months)? Time to get an evaluation. Don’t wait years for answers. 3. Rely only on apps – Apps use averages, not your body. Confirm ovulation with OPKs, cervical mucus, or BBT. 4. Overlook male factor – 50% of infertility is male-related. A semen analysis is simple, affordable, and essential. 5. Neglect sleep – Poor sleep disrupts hormones, ovulation, and sperm health. Consistent rest is fertility’s foundation. ✨ You can’t control everything, but you can avoid these red flags. *When you PRE-ORDER The Fertility Formula you will get immediate access to the Hormone and Lifestyle Guide - helping you learn more about optimizing your fertility and access to The IVF Course (preorders only!)

32 yr old client came to me with unexplained infertility. All the scans and reports were normal. Her periods were regular too. Yet they had not conceived despite trying for 7 months. “Try next month or we will go for IUI” was the solution given 🤷🏻‍♀️ When I ran the complete root cause analysis tests for her, i could see the problem - High cortisol along with oxidative stress Her body was in stress mode. She was constantly in fire fighting mode mentally too. It was affecting her sleep cycle and her egg quality. ⚠️A woman’s body CANNOT conceive in stress mode. Receiving and growing a life needs her to be in safe and relaxed state. We worked on bringing down her cortisol with gentle womb rituals which corrected her sleep cycle too. Within 2 weeks she began to feel the shift in her mood. In one month her cortisol was in optimal range. Comment “WOMB” below if you want to start your Fertility Journey with the 20 min womb ritual ✨

💼 Your boss doesn’t care about your biological clock… Nobody is going to save you when it comes to your reproductive health. Your company won’t shed a tear if you delay childbearing and end up needing IVF one day. You will regret not prioritizing your goals over that 7pm Zoom to discuss KPIs. Everyone should prioritize thinking about their fertility and contemplating their options. 💡 Your weight matters for fertility… I’m not here to body-shame you, but extra weight, especially around the midsection, can disrupt ovulation, lower egg quality, and reduce IVF success rates. It’s not about chasing a certain body type, it’s about creating the most optimal possible environment for eggs to mature & pregnancy. 🚭 Smoking and vaping aren’t harmless “habits”… They damage eggs, sperm, and the uterus’s ability to support a pregnancy. Every puff is accelerating your reproductive aging. If you’re serious about having kids, quit now. 🍷 Alcohol isn’t fertility-neutral… Regular heavy drinking can affect ovulation, sperm health, and increase miscarriage risk. The “wine every night” coping strategy might be quietly sabotaging your goals. 💊 There’s no magic supplement for egg quality… Online “fertility hacks” are often a waste of time and money. The basics, healthy lifestyle, avoiding toxins, and knowing your numbers, matter more than any overpriced vitamin blend. 🏋️‍♀️ You can’t out-exercise, out-eat, or out-positive-think age-related decline… Being healthy is so important but it doesn’t negate the impact of age. It’s important to be real about the stats. 🗣 You need to advocate for yourself!! If your cycles are irregular, painful, or nonexistent, don’t “wait and see.” Push for answers. All doctors are not created equal. Conditions like PCOS or endometriosis can steal time if ignored. Educated yourself. ❄ Fertility preservation is worth considering sooner than you think… Freezing eggs or embryos in your early 30s is far more effective than in your late 30s. This isn’t scare-tactics, it’s science. #ttc #fertility #infertility #ttccommunity #fertilitydoctor

💕SAVE this for later.💕 Yes, individualization is VERY important when it comes to fertility challenges…

BUT….there are also recommendations that help many. Removing these same things have helped hundreds of other couples take home healthy babies despite years of fertility challenges too…. 1️⃣Toxic relationships. Setting boundaries and distancing yourself from relationships that center around negativity or drain your peace has endless benefits for your health and fertility. Especially in the case of autoimmunity. 2️⃣Coffee before food. It seems silly, but has a huge impact on internal stress, hormone balance including blood sugar balance and circadian rythm. 3️⃣Low fat eating. We need fat to build hormones, support lining health, gut health and healthy cells for healthy eggs. Saturated fat from whole eggs, slow cooked meats, and butter is GOOD. 4️⃣Toxins in my personal care and cleaning products. There can be so many chemicals in our products that are known to decrease egg & sperm quality, disrupt hormones and contribute to infertility. 👉🏻Check out episode 13 on The Fertility Dietitian Podcast to learn much more! 5️⃣Comparing myself to others. Yes, some can get pregnant without all of the nutrition and lifestyle changes. Epigenetics play a big role here (stay tuned for an upcoming podcast on this)- focus on your journey and how you are setting up your future tiny human for lifelong health. It is worth it, I promise. 👉🏻What have you removed to support your fertility? 🤗You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. If you follow me you probably already know I’m very adamant about fertility awareness and education. It’s important whether or not you are trying to conceive. ⁣ ⁣ ➡️ Sperm can only survive in fertility cervical fluid for up to 5 days. Ovulation is an event that lasts for 24 hours only. After 24 hours, the egg disintegrates and conception is no longer possible. This makes conception possible for 6 days each menstrual cycle. ☝️Of course, if you are trying to avoid pregnancy, you should have a few buffer days before and after your fertile window (with confirming ovulation). 🤰🏻For patients trying to conceive, I typically recommend trying every other day around when you think you may be fertile (the week of your ovulation/when you are starting to notice cervical fluid changes), and definitely the day or your LH surge. Your LH surge can be identified using ovulation predictor kits, which measure Luteinizing Hormone (LH). Ovulation happens 24-36 hours after highest levels of LH. ✨Any questions? In the beginning, I thought I was doing everything right... Training 400kms a week on the bike What I didn’t realise was that this level of training was depleting my energy (Qi) stores and essential minerals. Fertility fit is different to physically fit. We want to nourish and replenish to create a fertile home for our embryos and pregnancy. We want to be fertility fit! Coffee Coffee drives cortisol and insulin. When we’re trying to conceive, our goal is to reduce inflammatory markers and take the body out of fight-flight-freeze. While 200mg of coffee a day is considered “safe” by some doctors, in Chinese Medicine, it’s a no-go. ✨ Try swapping it out for a warm, nourishing herbal tea or even better bone broth. Plastic containers This one’s easy: swap plastic for glass. Plastic contains BPAs and phthalates which are endocrine disruptors that negatively impact your hormones. Small change. Big difference. Ditch your microwave as well! Saying yes all the time Did you know that on an energetic level, adenomyosis is linked to overgiving and a lack of healthy boundaries? I had to learn to say no. To honour my capacity. To hold my energy sacred. This was a huge part of my healing. Gluten and dairy Cutting both was a non-negotiable for me. The latest research shows a link between gluten and endometriosis. Gluten contains a protein called gliadin, which triggers inflammation, especially in those with sensitivity. Even if you’re not coeliac, it can contribute to systemic inflammation. And dairy? It just didn’t work for my body. Small changes create big shifts. Download your Body Baby Ready! This is for the gal who doesn’t want to: - inject herself every day - have 1009900 blood tests - have their embryos in test tubes - spend $50,000+ with no guarantee This is what no one is saying LOUD enough: ✨✨ You don’t have to choose between “just keep trying” and IVF ✨✨ There’s an entire middle ground of root cause investigation. Somewhere along the way, with the advancement of IVF, we’ve forgotten that. You can discover what’s actually blocking your fertility. You can heal your body from the inside out. You can get pregnant naturally with the right support. Look, I had to do IVF after 2 ectopic pregnancies. I didn’t have a choice. But I wish that wasn’t part of my story. The emotional toll, the financial stress, the feeling like my body had failed me completely. My job now is to help women avoid that path when they still can. Most people are told they need IVF without anyone investigating: 🫛Why their immune system is attacking implantation 🫛Why their thyroid is sluggish (but “normal”) 🫛Why chronic inflammation is blocking conception 🫛Why nutrient deficiencies are affecting egg quality 🫛Why their body is too stressed to prioritize reproduction That’s exactly why I created “Why Am I Not Getting Pregnant?” my free guide that goes through the most overlooked root causes that could change your entire fertility story. Ready to discover what might actually be stopping you from getting pregnant naturally? Comment “READY” or dm READY, and I’ll send it straight to you. #fertility #ttc #unexplainedinfertility #ttcover30 #ttc #melbourneivf #ivfaustralia #eggquality

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ANSWERS 👇🏻 💫 first, hit the follow button!! Unexplained infertility can feel like a dead end. But here’s the truth: in many cases, it’s not truly unexplained — it’s just undiagnosed. Studies show that up to 47% of women labeled with unexplained infertility are later found to have silent endometriosis, meaning they show no typical symptoms like pain or heavy periods — yet it still interferes with egg quality, implantation, and immune balance. Elevated thyroid antibodies, even with normal TSH, can quietly disrupt hormone function and increase miscarriage risk. They can also signal an imbalanced immune response that may interfere with implantation. Micronutrient deficiencies can impair ovulation and egg maturation. And when your nervous system is constantly in “fight or flight,” your body may signal that it’s not a safe time to conceive. We kept digging and now at 18 weeks pregnant, she’s proof that there is more you can look into — and more that can be done. If you’re still searching for answers, please know this: your body is not broken. Sometimes, it just needs to be understood 🫶 ⭐️ if this was helpful hit follow and for more fertility support ⭐️ if you are looking for a fertility deep-dive in your own case, comment “deep-dive” or fill out the link in bio.

I didn’t need fertility treatment. Sounds wild, right? But that’s exactly what was suggested to me—despite the fact I hadn’t had a natural period in over TEN. YEARS 🩸 Here’s how it all went down: I lost my period in high school after a “fitness journey” that was more like eating too little and working out way too much. The solution? The pill. 💊 Supposedly to “protect my bones.” ⏭️ Fast forward to 2016. I was newly married, and we started dreaming about babies 💭 👶🏼 But I had this nagging question in the back of my mind: Could my period come back without the pill? Spoiler #2: It didn’t. 🚫 Nine months off the pill, and nothing. My ObGyn told me that low-level fertility treatments like Clomid or Femara wouldn’t work because I wasn’t cycling at all. IVF was the next step. But here’s the thing—after watching my best friend struggle through three grueling years of IVF, I wasn’t ready to go down that path. So, I became my own detective. 🕵️‍♀️ After a lot of research, frustration, and “what if” moments, I finally uncovered the real issue: Hypothalamic Amenorrhea (HA). Suddenly, it all clicked 💡 The over-exercising. The under-eating. The missing periods. It all made sense. But figuring it out? Oh. My. Gosh. It was a NIGHTMARE 😣 The right info? Impossible to find. The right support? Didn’t exist. But here’s the GOOD news: I did get my period back. And not just that—I went on to have THREE natural pregnancies. 🤰🤰🤰 This journey completely changed my life. As a Registered Dietitian, I’ve made it my MISSION to help other women who’ve lost their periods, navigate this messy process, and restore their fertility ✅ So, if this story feels all too familiar—please hear me: There’s hope. 💛 You are not alone. 👉 Not sure what’s going on with your period or where to even start?
