Stretching your hamstrings probably won’t help. Instead train your hip flexors with reciprocal hip flexion and extension. The band here will assist your top leg in staying up, but as you lower the bottom leg try to create more separation by driving the top leg towards your chest taking some tension off the bad. Try to keep the knees as straight as you can manage and avoid the bottom leg rotating open as you lower. #tighthamstrings #hamstringstretch

If stretching was the answer, it would have worked by now. Most recurring “tightness” isn’t a short muscle. It’s a muscle doing a job it doesn’t trust other muscles to do. So your body holds tension there for protection. You stretch it → it feels better briefly → then tightens again. Not because you need more stretching. Because you need better load sharing and control. This is why a lot of people stretch daily for months and never change anything. The body isn’t stubborn, it’s protective. When you fix the reason it’s protecting, the tightness improves #hamstringstretch #hamstrings #stretch #stretching #mobility

Then wonder why: ❌ their hinge feels terrible ❌ their lower back takes over ❌ they can’t feel their hamstrings working Try this instead: ✔ use a partner to push your leg up ✔ or use a band and do it yourself ✔ keep your leg straight ✔ take it into end range properly This actually lengthens the hamstrings and improves how they function during movements like RDL’s and deadlifts. Do this consistently and your hamstrings will stop feeling like concrete.
