🚨 WE NEED to talk about HIP DIPS ⬇️ I see SOOO many videos on “how to get rid of your hip dips”, but let’s get something straight… There is NO workout which will EVER get rid of or ‘fill out’ your hip dips - because there is NO MUSCLE in your hip dips! Hip dips are due to the glute insertion shape and bone structure. Glute medius and minimus are ABOVE the hip dip area, and glute max is built around it. You can grow your glute muscles, but you CAN’T change their shape. In fact, the more muscle you build, the more pronounced your hip dips become, because the muscles surrounding this area ‘stick out’ more. Which is why female superheroes in comic books are drawn WITH hip dips - they’re a sign of muscle mass! The majority of people have hip dips, you just don’t see them on social media as we all tend to post the angles we like the most of ourselves, which often doesn’t include showing off our hip dips. Those who DON’T have hip dips either: 1) GENETICALLY store more fat in this area or were born with a different bone structure 2) have had SURGERY So STOP chasing hip dip reduction and learn to love and accept them - they’re not going anywhere and that is OKAY 🤍 #hipdips #gymtips #glutegrowth

and that’s on HIP DIPS being a by-product of strong ass glutes stop comparing yourself to angles and lighting that social media shows 🫶🏼 I used to think my hip dips could be fixed by growing my glutes and training my ‘side’ glutes - but this is a MYTH you cannot build muscle in a hollow part of your bone structure you may be able to reduce the appearance of ‘hip dips’ with higher body fat percentage, but ‘hip dips’ are exactly that: a by-product of low body fat percentage, and STRONG glutes with higher muscle mass so if anything, going to the gym may emphasise them, but so be it! strong glutes aren’t just for girls or just for aesthetic reasons… strong glutes can actually help improve your metabolism, increase longevity, decrease the risk of many types of disease, reduce back pain, and so much more.

Some women have more fat around their hips, giving that curvy look 👀 Some women have more fat around their tummy, and are left wondering why they have “dips” at their hips 🥹 If you look at the skeleton, you can clearly see a gap on the pelvis. There is a dip in your hip because there literally isn’t any bone there 🥹 #hipdips #exercise

Los hip dips son las hendiduras o curvas que se marcan en las caderas principalmente en las mujeres, quiero aclarar que no necesariamente representan un signo de grasa acumulada sino que son un reflejo de la anatomía de la cadera y los tejidos que la rodean.  Aquí te comparto unos ejercicios que realizados con regularidad de ayudarán a tonificar los músculos de la cadera y reducir la apariencia de estas hendiduras. ¿Te interesa?
